The story of ME
'You're always creating castles in the sky.'
That's what's always been told me to me as a child and even now as an adult. I think it suits what I do because I like to dream and I love that my day lies in capturing someone's dream. I don't think you should settle for the ordinary.
I got my start in weddings in 2015, after I graduated from CATC Design school. I especially love taking photos of people, so portraiture drew me in immediately. I never thought I would specialise in weddings until my portraiture teacher Kat introduced me to this world of beautiful things, magical moments and dreamy light. She herself is a fine art wedding photographer, one half of the super talent It's Beautiful Here. In her I found an amazing mentor and from then on I was hooked. I studied many of the wedding photographer greats, relishing in the way they used light and shadow to create these mesmerising photographs.
My work is very much about capturing moments between people, holding a certain feeling that is forever remembered through the photograph. I love the use of natural light and how it evokes a feeling of happiness. My style is very laid back and non-intrusive, this is your time, not mine! I am simply there to capture it all as it happens naturally. I love that my work takes me from inner city weddings, in beautiful little Melbourne bars, to the wine country like the Yarra Valley. Every wedding I photograph is so different and I love discovering and learning about the people I am lucky enough to photograph on their most important day.
I am based in Melbourne and have worked with POET, The White Tree, Erin and Tara, Bek Smith Photography, It's Beautiful Here and have been featured in Ivory Tribe, Mr Theodore and Luna + Honey and the Bridal Journey.

“Engaging Chloe for our wedding day is undoubtedly one of the absolute best decisions we've made for our wedding.
Not only she is lovely to speak with, ever so gentle and reassuring, she takes GREAT pictures.
My husband is pretty awkward everytime he sees a camera, but Chloe did such an amazing job capturing moments throughout the day.
Thank you so so so much Chloe, I'm so glad that our paths crossed and I can't wait to see more of your magic in the future.”
